Based on the bestselling crime novels of Andrea Camilleri, Inspector Montalbano is Sicily's finest detective. Respected by the community and his subordinates, perhaps less so by his superiors, on an island where two major crime families are constantly battling for supremacy, the Inspector has his work cut out for him. Joined by his compatriots, Mimi, Fazio and Catarella, in The Merry-Go-Round the Inspector investigates a series of bizarre abductions which threaten to escalate to murder coinciding with the disappearance of a high-living playboy and his mistress. The episode entitled Love explores myriad personal stories of true love, jealousy, possessiveness and, of course, murder, with Salvo having to consider his feelings for the patiently waiting Livia, as together they bear witness to a strange entwining of love and fate.
