Jackie Chan was already a star when he made The Young Master but this film took him to another level. He plays 'Dragon' who undertakes a mission to find his missing brother, and gets into plenty of scrapes along the way – not least being mistaken for a criminal that the authorities are very keen to put behind bars....The Young Master was Jackie's second film as director, and he used it as a showcase to demonstrate just what he could do. And it remains a firm favourite of the fans, featuring some of the best set-pieces he ever cooked up. The black-belts at 88 Films are thrilled to present the UK Blu-ray premier of this true Hong Kong classic.Special Features:DISC 1Hong Kong Theatrical Cut [106 minutes]New 2K Remaster, restored from the original 35mm camera negative in 2.35:1 Aspect RatioCantonese Mono Theatrical MixCantonese Mono Home Video MixCantonese Hybrid MixEnglish 5.1 DubNewly remastered English subtitlesAudio Commentary with HK Cinema Expert Brandon 'OldPangYau' BentleyRick Baker on The Young MasterThe Art of the Cut: Editing of The Young Master [21 mins]Extended Fight Scenes: reconstructed and previously unavailable [6 mins] The Cut Master A collection of rare deleted, extended, and alternate footage [13 mins][archive] Jackie Chan Interview [8 mins][archive] The Master: An Interview with Master Whang In Sik [28 mins]NG (no good) shots [10 mins]Alternate Audio ClipHong Kong trailerExtended Hong Kong trailerJapanese trailerUS Home Video TrailerEnglish trailerHong Kong Trailer ParkDISC 2International Export Cut [90 minutes]Restored especially for the 40th Anniversary of the film, this version was commissioned by Golden Harvest for audiences outside Asia Contains the Classic English Dub and an alternate soundtrack featuring the song 'Kung Fu Fighting Man' performed in English by Jackie Chan.
