Get ready to meet Eric Binford, the number one movie fan in the whole world. In fact, this lonely cinephile loves movies so much he’s prepared to kill for them whilst living out his warped fantasies all in the name of his deranged obsession for the silver screen. Written and directed by Vernon Zimmerman, this is a slasher which focuses on the darker side of fandom and obsession whilst smartly entwinning a very black, surreal sense of humour. Filled with film references and a very early role for Mickey Rourke, Fade to Black has the spirit of Scream mixed with the tone of Psycho and the beating heart of 80s slasher films.4K restoration in 1.85:1 aspect ratio from the Original 35mm Camera NegativePresented in Dolby Vision High Dynamic Range (HDR10 Compatible)4K (2160p) UHD presentationHigh Definition (1080p) Blu-ray disc also includedUncompressed 2.0 English MonoCommentary track with lead actor Dennis ChristopherCommentary track with The Hysteria Continues!Historical commentary track with film historians Amanda Reyes and Bill AckermanOptional English SDHMusic Fading: A Brand New interview with Craig SafanFade In, Fade Out - A video essay by Heather WixsonLiving & Dying for the Movies - an interview with lead actor Dennis ChristopherCelluloid Heroes - an interview with executive producer Irwin YablansTaking the Hits - an interview with special effects artist Wayne BeauchampA Shiny Quality - an interview with actress Marcie BarkinExperimenting with Sound - an interview with composer Craig SafanFinishing the Story - an interview with editor Barbara PokrasA Brush with Darkness - an interview with stylist Patricia BunchAudio interview with lead actress Linda KerridgeOriginal theatrical trailer
